Responsibilities' include but not limited:
Preparing Purchase Orders and entry in accounting software
Daily entry of materials from job cards.
Maintaining all ordering materials, supplies and equipment
Direct contact with Salesperson
Reviewing current inventory quantities to determine ordering needs.
Negotiate with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment, and services at the best price.
Follow up with vendors regarding status of order(s).
Pick up order materials and delivery, receiving materials
Year End Inventory counting, entry into Accounting system.
Assist office for special projects or as needed answer incoming calls.
Above average computer skills
Experience: 3 to 5 years as a purchasing agent work independent, multi-tasking a must. Proven skills, safety officer and complete environment forms and daily task. Tool room experience a plus
Current Drivers Licenses.
Report to Office Manager.
