Welders Needed

About the Position
Journeyman Welder spends at least 2/3 time with “Hood Down” in position welding as well as weld prep
and clean up

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, abilities and experience:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities
may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
· Mig and Arc welding of Structural Steel
· Proficient welding with Dual Shield in a production environment
· Knowledgeable with Stick Welding in a production environment
· Familiar with Aluminum and Stainless-Steel welding
· Sand and grind to finished products
· Medically qualified / fit tested for respirator use
Education and/or Experience: 4-10 Years related experience and/or training
Knowledge:
· WABO certification
· Ability to read blueprints
· Overhead crane/Rigging

Work Environment: Very loud (Shop)
Under1/3 of the time, this employee will be; Working near moving mechanical parts,
Working in high, precarious places, Working with explosives
1/3-2/3 of the time, this employee will be; working in Wet or humid conditions (non-weather),
Outdoor weather conditions, Risk of electrical shock, Vibration
Over 2/3 of the time, this employee will be; working around Fumes or airborne particles,
Toxic or caustic chemicals, Extreme cold (non-weather), Extreme heat (non-weather)
